Who I Am

Hi! My name is Brax, I’m a Photographer, Writer, Full-time Digital Nomad, and the owner of this website and blog! Thanks for stopping by.

I grew up in Utah in the United States. It’s an absolutely gorgeous state and I was really blessed to be around such incredible beauty. From an early age, being in the middle of these wild landscapes really instilled in me a love for the outdoors, capturing Utah landscapes and finding other incredible places to share with the world.

When I was 22, I had an incredible opportunity. I’ve always loved photography, seeing things that nobody else sees, capturing the unexpected; and I found myself being able to invest in all new camera equipment, and head for new adventures outside of the US. I traveled to Scotland and road tripped around for about a week and a half. That trip merits its own post, which I’ll get around to eventually. But in short, it changed my life. The difference in culture, the beauty, the architecture, it was all so new and I just couldn’t get enough. Two weeks certainly isn’t enough time to see everything in the UK or Scotland itself, but I had the bug. Travelling and capturing photographs was all I could think about.

I was a starting photographer at the time. I had found a few travelling photography channels on YouTube that I watched faithfully. I wanted to learn everything I could about what they do. I never thought I’d be ready, and that it would be something that I’d daydream about for the rest of my life potentially. Luckily, I worked incredibly hard and got extraordinarily lucky, and here I am, doing what I love, being a professional photographer.

Feel free to drop a comment, ask a question on my contact page back on my main website, or ask me about collaborations! I’d love to hear from you!

Thanks for reading!
